Tour departure times can be flexible but 8 am on the morning of departure is recommended.

After early morning 7am breakfast, at 8am your tour will start with driving out of Ulaanbaatar. First stop will be Hustai National Park, The park is home to the successfully reintroduced Przewalski Horse or “Takhi”. These are some of the last truly wild horses in the world. Lunch at local restaurant on the way.
Your destination of the day will be in the wild rocky mountain, where you will stay in the local family ger and local dinner. Khogno Khan Nature Reserve is the beautiful series of rocky hills that rise above the otherwise flat landscape and sand dunes. Visit the ruined monastery. If you are lucky you may spot a snow leopard.
Spend the day, ride camel through the sand dunes and ride house into the wild rocky mountain. Visit Uvgun Khiid temple. Depending on the weather, 2km hike in this mountain range is highly recommended. Spend the rest of the with the nomadic family share cultural knowledge. You are welcome to help herding livestock.
The area was formed by volcanic activity that dates back 20,000 years. Nomadic people from this area herds YAKS 🙂 interesting destination to be visiting all year around.
After breakfast, start driving to next destination about 130km to Khar Khorin, this local town was the ancient capital built by Chinggis Khan in the 13th century. Visit the magnificent Erdene Zuu monastery, Khar Khorin museum, as well as some of the rock monuments in the town. Lunch in the local café. After big day of exploring the city. Dinner at the local family home.
Ogii Lake is a freshwater lake 1,387 meters above sea level and covers an area of 27 square km. The lake abounds in various types of fish and birds, which creates incredible natural beauty.
Enroute to Ulaanbaatar will take you to Khar Bukhiin Balgas, fortress that was inhabited by the Kitan Dynasty from 917 to 1120
With nothing but fond memories return to Ulaanbaatar. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way and enjoy one last day in the wild!
